Why surfing?
I have always dreamed about this sport, which prompted me to go to California – the place where the surfing culture and lifestyle were born. It was there that I tried surfing for the first time in my life and completely fell in love.
A year later, in 2015, I came to Portugal for a surfcamp. As fate would have it, I ended up in a hostel in Peniche belonging to Rodrigo – who would have thought that a few years later we would create such a wonderful project together as Surfstories.
We surfed, visited the area, local beaches, amazing cliffs by the ocean, and in the evenings we partied in beach bars.
I completely fell in love with this surf town by the ocean and after leaving I couldn’t stop thinking about it. That same season, I came back here in September for another Surfcamp – I remember that I was already secretly dreaming of living here.
About my love
Since then, every longer May weekend or holiday, I planned trips to places with the best waves in the world. Apart from California, I visited Indonesia, Costa Rica, the Canary Islands, the southwest coast of France, northern Spain and Sri Lanka – all of these places several times – surfing, learning about the local culture, making many friends and business contacts.
One day, when I was still studying in Krakow, I had the brilliant idea that I would find a job at Surfcamp and move to Portugal to spend a season in this wonderful place. When I thought about it, I did it and a moment later I was on the plane to Portugal.
It wasn’t always easy, at times it was fucking difficult – I worked in a hotel, I was making breakfasts since early mornings, cleaning toilets, washing windows in 40-degree heat – but all these experiences shaped me!
How Surfstories was born?
After a year of working in the office, I quit my job and went on my first solo trip to Sri Lanka – I remember that New Year’s Eve when I cried with happiness that I didn’t have to return to this company again! I felt changes were coming! Big changes and something beautiful will surely come out of it.
On December 1, 2020, Surfstories was created, when I was about to start working in a financial corporation – I had an “epiphany” – seriously, that’s what I call it now. I was lying in the bathtub getting ready for the interview with Hinsdus when I came to the conclusion that this was not the way to go.
Years of traveling around the world have brought me a lot of contacts and I would be stupid if I didn’t try to use them and create these amazing trips for you.
During this time, I have organized over 30 Surfcamps for you, mainly in Portugal, but also in Sri Lanka and Costa Rica. I have never been happier than I am now! Surfstories is growing, I am constantly attracting wonderful people, new beautiful friendships are being formed and your dreams are coming true!
And another summer season in Portugal and winter season in Sri Lanka are ahead of us! I can not wait!

My dream was to turn my passion for surfing into unforgettable adventures. My surfing trips are unique because we combine surfing with getting to know local culture and cuisine. Looking into less obvious places to show you my favorite surfing destinations in a less obvious way.
I believe that surfing is more than a sport – it’s a lifestyle – and I want you to experience it in some of the most beautiful surfing spots around the world. And in the end, you will be left with not only better surfing skills, but also lifelong memories, new friends and the feeling that every day should be like this.

I love sharing my passion for surfing because I truly believe it’s the best sport in the world! Surfing gives you an incredible sense of freedom and releases a real boost of energy that makes you happy all day long! Surfing produces an extraordinary feeling of adrenaline. It is a sport that requires focus and control, but at the same time gives a feeling of excitement and stimulation. Feeling the wind in your hair, the sea breeze and the waves under your feet is an amazing experience.
And it all started with an adventure with surfing and love for traveling. Now, after 3 years, Thirty organized surfcamps in Portugal, Costa Rica and Sri Lanka, over a hundred satisfied guests and maybe over 100,000 waves ridden, I can definitely say that I know what to do to make you experience the most unforgettable holidays in your life! We offer a wide range of courses, so whether you are a beginner or a more advanced surfer, you will receive personalized surfing sessions with us.

Going to Surfcamp is a unique experience that allows you to discover the charms of surfing and spend unforgettable moments with people with similar passions. It’s a time full of new experiences, incredible emotions and unlimited fun. Surfcamp is also an opportunity to break away from everyday reality and immerse yourself in beautiful nature. Thanks to qualified instructors, you can improve your boarding skills and in the evenings enjoy various activities, such as a barbecue by the beach, sunset on the cliffs above the ocean or a party at a local beach bar on the ocean shore.
